  1. Declare drivers as "Second Soldiers of the Nation".
  2. Recognize September 1st officially as "Driver Day".
  3. Enact a strict law to protect drivers from mob violence.
  4. Rs 20 Lakh compensation for accidental death and 10 Lakh for injury with free treatment.
  5. Monthly pension of Rs 5,000 for all drivers after age 55.
  6. Form a Welfare Board under All Bengal Driver Mahasangha for driver development.
  7. Provision of two-room housing for every driver family.
  8. Proper education arrangements for drivers' children.
  9. Parking and toilets every 100km on National Highways.
  1. Permission to drive in local areas without harassment.
  2. Post toll plaza staff at least 150km away from their homes.
  3. Reservation benefits in higher education for drivers' children.
  4. Proper arrangements for smooth driving in local areas.
  5. Free transportation of the body to home in case of accidental death.
  6. Proper parking space and restrooms in every company.
  7. Mandatory installation of cameras on front, back, and sides of vehicles.
  8. Mandatory insurance coverage for every driver.
